The favorite part of my day was… Visiting outdoor school tonight & listening to Mrs. Petersen & Mr. B tell me all about how our students are representing Sherman county so well. It was so fun to listen to the excitement in their voices as they told me all about the past few days & all the different things our students have been learning about…& a major shout out to our high school camp counselors who are helping lead Outdoor school. It was so evident they’re doing a wonderful job helping create lasting memories for our 6th grade students. Superintendent Fall #EveryKidEveryDay100WhateverItTakes

Instead, we invite you to join us in supporting the Sherman County FFA Chapter at their banquet, happening at 6pm. For just $5, enjoy a delicious tri-tip dinner and take part in a silent auction. Let's come together to celebrate their hard work and achievements!

The favorite part of my day was… Sending off our 6th-grade class to outdoor school this morning…Getting pictures from Mr. B from their 1st day at outdoor school! …Being the second grade class’ secret reader for the month…Starting to receive the seniors’ graduation announcements….& ending the day working on next year‘s 6th-12th grade master schedule. This time of the school year only gets increasingly more busy & yet if we remind ourselves to be present in the moment & see the individual in front of us, we can be far more effective & impactful. The favorite part of my day was… Both bookends…seeing the Times Journal this morning at the Husky Market…& being a part of the FFA Chapter Officer interview process this evening…Listening to the interviewees, & then being present for the debrief & discussion afterwards with Violet, Henry, Sawyer & Mr. Swenson…These 3 students’ unquestionable commitment to the future & good of the chapter is something to be acknowledged. And when they saw me taking a picture & asked if that meant they were going to be the favorite part of the day…Their excitement about that brought a huge smile to my face. Great students, leaders, & most importantly, good humans. Another great day to be a Husky. Superintendent Fall #EveryKidEveryDay100WhateverItTakes
